I'm just home from the staging of Jane Austen's Emma mentioned previously. I am happy to report that it was thoroughly delightful. The adaption was very true to the book, with the few minor changes necessary to accomidate the staging being not at all jarring. Very happy that I just managed to secure a half price ticket (via Amazon Local) for the extended run of the staged adaption of Jane Austen's Emma currently playing at Lantern Theater Company. I just got the latest Rasputina newsletter...apparently Melora &Co. are taking over the spots opening for Gary Numan that Emilie Autumn had to bow out from due to her surgery. Why that would be me ^_^ They are playing at the Mann Center August 2, two days after Projektfest and two days before the Rufus & Martha Wainwright show (also at the Mann), so I'm figuring that's a pretty good week to schedule my summer vacation.
